Dr. Chung, Min DOM. LAC. - Owner and Acupuncturist
DOM(Doctor of Oriental Medicine), L.Ac.(Licensed Acupuncturist), C.H.(Chinese Herbalist), OM (Oriental Medicine) in NCCAOM
Dr. Chung is a licensed Acupuncturist and Chinese Herbalist who received his Bachelor’s degree from Kyung Hee University in Seoul Korea and received his Master’s degree in Oriental Medicine from Dallas College of Oriental Medicine and Doctor of Oriental Medicine from Virginia University of Integrative Medicine
Dr. Chung is accredited with both Diplomate in Acupuncture(Dipl.Ac) and Diplomate in Chinese Herbology (Dipl.C.H.) from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. He also passed the Western Bio Medicine Exam regulated by NCCAOM.
Dr. Chung trained in an Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist course, to help patients Quit Smoking and prohibition to Drug Addictions.
His clinic experience is not only in oriental medicine field but he practiced as an Acupuncture Director in Ocean View Orthopedic surgeon group, associated with pain management Medical Doctor, and Osteopathic Doctor.
As a Chinese Herbalist, his knowledge of Chinese Herbal Medicine is much influenced by his family. Dr. Chung’s grandfather was a very famous Oriental Medical Practitioner. He has gained a lot of secret techniques in special Herbal Prescriptions inherited from his family.
